WHAT CAN OSTEOPATHY DO FOR YOU?
Osteopaths are commonly known for treating back and neck pain; but we do so much more!
I love looking at problems caused by:

overstraining when doing something you are unaccustomed to doing like moving a piece of heavy furniture, reaching awkwardly into a cupboard or tripping off a kerb.

arthritis, headaches arising from tension in the neck and shoulders, or minor sports injuries.

I use a wide variety of gentle hands-on techniques that focus on releasing tension, improving mobility and optimising function.
I assess, diagnose, treat and prevent a wide range of problems and am also trained to check for signs of serious conditions so that I can refer you to other healthcare professionals to ensure you receive the best possible care.
I take the time to understand each patient – your unique combination of symptoms, your medical history and your lifestyle with all its demands.
ABOUT ME
MY BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE
I have a Masters in Osteopathy, a Post Graduate Certificate in Paediatric Osteopathy, am registered with The General Osteopathic Council, a member of the Sutherland College of Cranial Osteopathy, and an experienced, award holding Perrin Technique Practitioner.
In pursuit of my interest in treating Chronic Fatigue my London practice, Harper Road Osteopaths, now specialises in the osteopathic treatment of ME/CFS. I trained in the Perrin Technique with Dr Raymond Perrin and started using his approach in 2014, and have assisted Dr Perrin in the practical elements of his London based courses.
I have studied and practice in the field of cranial osteopathy and became a Member of the Sutherland College of Cranial Osteopathy in 2019.
As part of my commitment to pursuing Continuing Professional Development (CPD) I have undertaken studies in cranial osteopathy, chronic pain (one of the few practitioners trained in OsteoMap - a technique involving ACT, Mindfulness and Osteopathy), women's health, medical acupuncture, Pilates matwork and kinesio-taping and I regularly use a variety of techniques within any one treatment.
I divide my week between my own small practice, Harper Road Osteopaths in London Bridge and The Walled Garden in Hildenborough. The rest of the time finds me gardening and hiking.
MY PRACTICES
I set up and ran Cloud Active Therapies in Waterloo in 2011 which became Union City Therapies when we moved to Elephant and Castle in London in 2014. I then renamed the practice Harper Road Osteopaths in 2019 when we moved to Harper Road in Borough. We moved again to the beautiful Hop Exchange in London Bridge in 2021, but the name stuck! I now work there with co-owner Lorna Rose, another osteopath and good friend; and three associates Caroline Lovett, Madiha Khokar and Louisa Henson.
Although I no longer practice at the Manor Clinic in Sevenoaks, you can still find me in Kent at the Walled Garden in Hildenborough on Thursdays.
